Why do you choose to be angry? Milo looked at Hobgoblin, speaking in his mind softly.
Lauren flipped through the empty pages to the middle of her notebook and began writing something new. Different emotions flashed through her deep blue eyes as she scribbled line by line down towards the end of the page. Reaching the bottom, she flipped it over and continued.
Jon watched Lauren as she passionantly wrote from her heart. He admired this about her; she put her heart into everything she did.

Milo sighed and looked at Lauren whowas on the back of her third page now.
Jon read over her shoulder, shock filling his eyes.

"Yuck" Jessie said as she stuck her hand in wet correction fluid. "Hobgoblin I'm gonna beat you" Jessie snapped the big cat didn't look scared.

Lauren paused on her fifth page, tears blocking her vision. She blinked. Her hand moved shakily across the page as they rolled down her cheeks.
Jon continued reading with a sad and shocked expression in his eyes. He put his hand on her shoulder.

The teacher stood up in front of the room. "All right it's time for you all to give your works from the cliffs." He said as Gianni entered breathlessly.
"Sorry I'm late" He said. THe teacher pointed to a seat and Gianni sat down embarassed.

Lauren blinked away the tears and snapped her notebook shut. She avoided Jon's eyes, just no realizing he had read it.
Jon pulled out the short story he had written, watching Lauren.
She ripped the three page story she wrote on the cliff and looked at the teacher.

"Jessie Anderson your up first" THe teacher called. Jessie nodded and stood up in front of the class. "This really has nothig to do with the cliffs. but here goes nothing"
"The title is a thank you for my best friends" Jessie took a deep breath and launched in
"I'd like to say a big thank you to my best friends. Thanks for always being there for me. NO matter what I was going through you were there. When I was mad you were there. If I was sad they were there bringing the light back. When I was happy, they were there to share in the joy. If it was my turn to shine they gracefully stepped out of the spotlight. Whenever I fell they picked me up and helped me to walk again. There were times when I pushed them away, but they never left me. THey simply waited. They awalays stood by and never lost patience. with me. They always stood by and never lost patience with me unless it was warranted. They never pretended to understand but were always there to listen. They've waited for me to come around and I believe it's working. Things got complicated and always will. I wasn't always the best fried I could be but they didn't care. One day I hope I can be the friend that they all deserve. Thanks for everything you guys. I love you no matter what and I hope you love me." Jessie finished with tears coursing down her cheeks. "This was dedicated to my faithful brothers, James, Gianni, my new best friend, Emma, and the guy I love, Andy." Jessie finished and sat down as fast as she could.
"Wonderful, and now Lauren." The teacher said picking up his role sheet.

Akiko sighed and looked at her paper. She really didnt have anything on it. Looking up then back at the paper she started to wright as fast as she could.
Kai looked over at Akiko and rolled her eyes.

Kujo stood up and layed down by Chime. "Why can't humans just come right out and say what they think?" He looked up with sad eyes at Kai hoping for attention.

Lauren stood hesitantly, looking down at the first page. She took a deep breath before beginning.
"'The Ultimate Adventure'," she read the title. "Many say life is a big adventure. They say it's like a roller coaster, that you never know where you're going next. One such unexpected thing in life," she glanced at Jon. "Is love. Love, one of the most complicated of our emotions, the most unexpected at times, is very much undefined. Love means something different to everyone, therefore making life even more complex than it was to begin with. Yet this may be what some desire most; to love, and be loved." she paused to flip the page.
Lauren continued reading, talking about other emotions and the difficult choices people make. Reaching the final paragraph, it spoke of how hard life is but that we must continue fightin to live it in.
Jon squeezed her hand as she sat, catching her gaze.

"Ya, where all crazy" she told the Greamn Shepered as a bigged dog walked in. Its light gray fur half shiny. Its tail moving. Seeing Chimne he sat down. "hey Duke" Kai said softly. He nodded his head at her happily. Chime looked to Kujo "you'll rember Duke, I hope, from the selter"
