A walk and a birthday

[Spider Call]

Danni strolled on to the beach her hips swinging, Shanters scampered happily along behind her his tail going nineteen to the dozen. She flicked her brown hair over her shoulder as she kicked off her sandles and pealed off her three quarter lengh trousers. She folded them up and put them on a rock, laying her sandles beside them. She pulled off her halterneck and stuck it on top of the trousers before turning and looking out to sea.

The sea was crystal clear and the sun had began to set, orange pink purple and blue makeing the beach perfect. She walked down to the sea, quiet and calm, Shanters at her heal. She daintily stepped in to the cool water and was soon out of her depth, Shanters swam after her and as she got further out she found a coral coated rock.

Danni hauled herself up on to the rock and sat down on her side, her feed dangling over the edge. She let out a sigh as she hauled Shanters out on to the rock and began to watch the sun set. She let out a sigh as she listened to the peaceful sound of the waves againsed the sand, and the soft kaw of the gulls as they soared over head.

he had finally caught up with her and discovered her at the beach, she had already swam out "HEY!" he shouted to her hoping she could hear him or at least see him

She turned as she heard the shout "Great, just great" she murmered, a disturbance to perfect peace. She let out a sigh and let her feet slip in to the now icy water.

he watched her as she dived into the water "hmm, not bad" he said to himself raising his eyebrows as he checked out her body. he then turned to her clothes she had laid out on a rock and smiled to himself, he was thinking whether or not to actually pick up her clothes and run away with them but it was overthrown by the though that maybe this would jepardise any chance of a relationship with lucy so he decided to leave them be

Danni had soon decided to just ignore him, she turned back and continued to watch the beautiful scene as the sun began to disappear. She put her arm around Shanters and hugged him "I love you" she whispered, it was the first time she had ever used these words, and it may be the last.

Shanters looked up at her with his pretty green eyes, he licked her hand softly before turning back to the view.

he looked at her as he saw her stop and return to her perch "oh alright," he said to himself nodiing his head. he turned back to the clothes and smiled, he picked them up and began to walk briskly away from the beach

She stayed on the rock until the sun had gone down and the stars and moon had risen. She turned over and lay on her back, she looked over the stars searching. After about an hour of searching she found her star, but for once it didnt stay still, it fell.

Danni let out a gasp "I wish Emma could find her true love" she whispered. Once again this was the first time she had been selfless, and probably would also be the last. Two hours later she decided she had better be getting home, the tide had almost reached the rock her stuff was on and she needed to get it before it became soaked.

She slipped in to the ice cold water and shivvered slightly at the feel of it. Grabbing hold of Shanters she lay on her back and placed him on top of her so he wouldnt be cold and began kicking.

She finally reached the shore and climbed out, she picked the little dog up and made her way up the beach....... "Dean" she muttered as she reached dthe rock, her clother where gone... But he had forgotton one thing, her beach wrap and a jumper. She tied the wrap around her waist and slipped the jumper on over her wet bikini before tuching Shanters snugly inside the jumper. She walked up the hill and began the long walk home, takeing one last look at the sea she let out a sigh and walked away.

As she turned her star twinkled above, it had heard her wish and was going one better.

James came walking up with his Mastiff. "Hey Danni when am I gonna get to see those dogs that are pregnant." James smiled as Kujo who had decided to tag along withouht Jessie ran up to Shanters.

"How are you young one' the shepherd asked. "This is my friend Siva she's pretty cool."

[Spider Call]

Shanters looked up and wagged his tail "Hi, nice to meet you". Danni gave a laugh "Now if you like, but i better get some clothes when i get back first". She stood waiting for him as the first rain drops began to fall and a bolt struck the sky.

[Princess Jr]

"Okay" James said with a smile. He then called Siva to him. "Kujo let's go" He said. Kujo looked at him and shook his head and went the other way. "If he gets lost it's not my fault>' He snapped at the sky.

[Spider Call]

She began to run "Quick i know i cant get any wetter but you can" she said with a laugh as the rain came down.

[Princess Jr]

James ran laughing after her. "It won't matter"

[Spider Call]

She smiled as she ran, she sprinted up the track letting her wrap slip, it whipped in to the air and flew away but Danni didnt even notice.

James snatched it and caught up wth her .' "Here"

"Thanks" she replied tieing it round her waist once more.
