Andy paced up and down the yard as he awaited the tell tale sounds of a trailor. He had been the first back up here, and was not about to miss his chance.
The brunette had been trying to put this plan in to action since before Christmas, and yet it had never been the right time, and then of course Jessie had gone away.
Wringing his hands tightly together he stared as the animals arrived.
"Kujo!" He called softly, warmth spreading over him at the sight of his loves dog.

Kujo barked from inside the trailer. He immediately recognized Andy's voice and he liked Andy. After all, Andy made Jessie happy and anything that made Jessie happy made Kujo happy. Midnight joined in the chorus of barks. The animals in the trailer were more than ready to get out.
Jessie came down the trail after the trailer. She had managed to step away from her brothers long enough to put her animals back. James would be down soon to deal with his horse and dog. She smiled brightly as she saw Andy. It had only been a few weeks but it felt like forever.

Andy waited for the trailer to stop before flicking the latch and calling to Kujo. "Do me a favour buddy?" He pulled a small box out of his pocket and held it out to the dog with a smile upon his lips.
Hey, who said he couldn't be romantic? It may not be the traditional way of doing things, but involving the companion of the woman he wanted to marry somehow felt right.
Standing up straight once more he moved towards Jessie smiling softly.

Kujo gently took the box from Andy. He could easily figure what the box was and it made him happy to help out Andy in this endeavor. He knew that dealing with Jessie had not always gone easy with Andy, but somehow the man had made it work for a long time. The dog ran towards his mistress.
Jessie slowed as Kujo ran up to her. "What do you have dear?" She gently took the thing out of her dogs mouth. She looked from the box to Andy and back. Running to him, Jessie opened the box. When she was in front of him, she stopped. "Is this what I think it is?" Tears pricked her eyes.

Smiling softly Andy wrapped an arm around her, "It is." Taking in a deap breath he looked in to her eyes "Will you marry me Jessie?" He murmured softly against her.

"Of course, Andy." Like she could tell him no, after everything. He had been there the many times she and Cassie had gone into spaz mode and fought. THe most important thing was he knew about her brothers and though he and James didn't often get along, Andy still stuck by her. Jessie kissed him until a hoof against the trailer door reminded her that she had come down here with a purpose.

Andy smiled through the kiss wrapping his arms around her and drawing her close. He chuckled softly as they broke apart, "I love you. But, I think your horse may want out!"
Bending down he ruffled Kujo atop the head, "thanks boy" he gave the dog a nod.

"Eh, you know how they are." She lifted the ring from the box and slipped it over her finger. Sighing happily, Jessie opened the back of the trailer, and stepped in to grab Whirlwind's halter. The horse whinnied as he backed out of the trailer. "Yeah, yeah, I know you are as happy as the rest of us to be back." Jessie watched Andy over her shoulder. "So did Emma hook you up with another horse?" She was trying to make light conversation knowing that James would have to come down soon to let Amour into her stall. Jessie hoped that Danni would be with him. She tended to keep Jessie's brother more calmed down than anyone else had ever been able to do.

Andy chuckled and shook his head "pains, but we love them anyway!" He thought for a few moments before answering the question "eh.... She has been dragging me round looking at a few while you have all been gone, keeping us both occupied I guess. But uh, I think I may have found a mare that I like. Lovely little grey, very sweet natured. I think you would like her." He murmured with a smile. Glancing towards Whirlwind he added "I think you would too."

"Don't give him any ideas." Jessie muttered over her shoulder as she stepped off the ramp and led the horse to his stall. Kujo and Midnight stayed near Andy knowing better than to get under their mistress's feet. Smiling, Jessie slammed the door of the stall and turned back to Andy. She walked back over to him. "So...how are we going to break the news to Danni, Emma, and my brothers?"

Andy chuckled louder this time, "Emma worked out that I wanted to a while back, so unless she has kept quiet Gianni will know. Err James on the other hand. Well. Uhmm. I'm sure Danni will keep him in check." He didn't sound so sure. "Won't she?" he asked hopefully.

"Even if Emma hasn't told Gianni, he will be cool with it, but I hope for our sake that Danni will keep James in check. Truthfully, I don't know how she puts up with him." Jessie slung her tack into the tack room and closed the door. Now she was ready to unpack her bags at the house she already shared with Andy. Snapping her fingers at her side, Jessie was commanding Kujo and Midnight to her side. Suddenly a thought occured to her, she had never introduced her father to Andy or vice versa. Her skin crawled to think of that. "I can think of someone who is going to take this way worse than James. My father is going to have a cow when I tell him I'm engaged to a man he doesn't even know." She stepped over to Andy. Sighing, she put an arm around his waist. "How about we don't worry about that this second? I'd rather get unpacked."

"Yeah I thought he would be. Ah, James. I really have no idea!" He raised his eyebrows for a moment before pretending to be deep in thought. "I guess she really must love him." He flashed Jessie a smile "let's just hope she can remind him that I love you, despite what he thinks of me." Listening quietly he bit his lip at the mention of her father "ah, parents. That is the dangerous part" Andy laughed in a slightly nervous way. "I'm sure we will be fine" he murmured with an encouraging smile. Wrapping his arm about her he added "Let's worry about James first, Kay?"

"Sounds good to me. Let's go home, for awhile. This jet lag is killing me." Jessie and James had only been back in the states for a few days. She also hated not to get unpacked before school started up in the next few days. Andy was right they should worry about James first. Why he didn't like Andy, Jessie wasn't sure, but it was apparent that he didn't. Jessie was just glad that Danni tended to have a calming affect on him.

"Sounds good to me too" he replied with a smile. "But.. Uh... We will just ignore the fact that I haven't put the washing on ok?" He looked sheepish as he added this part. "I will do it, I swear." He glanced to the side waiting to be reprimanded.
