BIC Jessie, James, and Gianni filed into the festive room with glum looks on their faces they were not looing forward to seeing their dad.

Lauren squeezed Jon's hand, pulling him aside before they entered the room.
"She can't know," he gaze met his.
"Why?" he asked, looking into her eyes.
"She'd kill me," she shook her head a little, eyes very serious and pleading. "Please don't."
"Okay," Jon sighed, squeezing her hands. "Meet you later."
Turning, he walked into the room, Spooky at his heels.

dawn looked over at her dad as he stared at her, she walked slowly over, "what the hell color is your hair now? cant you just have it like other people, a normal color?" he moaned
she looked around the room and looked down to the floor, "dad, come on, i havent seen you in eight months, can we just be civil with eachother for once, please"
he looked at her "how can i with a disappointment like you in the family"

"Hello," Jon approached his family.
"Hello," Catherine muttered coldly before walking off to find Lauren.
She pressed a note into his hand as she passed him.
Mrs. Erwin didn't notice as she walked forward to hug her son.

Mr. Anderson walked over he had the same green eyes as Jessie and James but dark black hair. They all watched each other with contempt

"Hey Cat!" Lauren grinned, seeing Catherine walk towards them.
"Hey Lauren," the two hugged then stepped apart. "So..."
Catherine looked at her friend.
"Yeah," Lauren stuffed her hands in her pockets. "I can't believe I'm livin' without yall..."
"I'm sorry we had to send ya here hun," her mom hugged her briefly. "come on, I need to see your room."
Lauren gave Cat a bit of a freaked out deer in the headlights look.
"See ya later," she said then whispered," hopefully."
She let her finger slid across her throat then followed her mom.
Catherine returned the look, remembering how unorganized that dorm had been. Sighing, she walked back to her family to find them talking.
"So," Mrs Erwin grinned. "Met any cute girls?"
"Maybe," Jon said, remembering Lauren's warning.
He crossed his arms, glancing at Catherine as she rejoined them.
"Kept your room clean?" their mother continued.
"Yes mother," he sighed, looking around at the other famlies.

Emma walked in linking arms with Danni, Lucy was already stood beside her mother who straight away rushed over. Emma had gone to live with Lucy and her family just over a year before. Her mother had remarried and he and Emma did not get on. "How have you been?" she assked hugging them "Fine thanks" Emma said with a laugh and Danni just rolled her eyes.

"Jessie Anderson drop the attitude now" Mr. Anderson snapped his eyes locking with hers
"Why should I? THis is just the way I am" Jessie snapped back. James and Gianni stood silently beside her. JEssie was always the one that spoke out against their father.

Kristy walked in with the air of a model, as always. Motioning to her dfad, she turned with a flick of her hair and left with him running after her.
Pierce walked in, letting his mom hug him. They exchanged words quietly then left.
Jason sat on a table, watching the students and their parents.
"Not likely dad's gonnna be here," he muttered.
He put his hand in his pocket, feeling the cigerette package. He wanted one but knew he would be in for it if he smoked in plain site. He wasn't that stupid.
