Ruby heaved her saxophones into the building with aching arms. Sweat began to roll past her brow as a cool breeze flew by. The student was relieved to hear her two dogs trailing after her, she was starting to think the two had wandered off. It took her a few moments until she managed to pry the door open. She kicked her baritone saxophone case into the building lightly to move onward at a faster pace. Ruby set down all four of her instrument cases and entered the meeting room, leaving her saxophones by the door. Kanga had lead Rover into the room before she lied down by the cases, Rover doing the same.
The blonde's high heels clicked against the tile as she neared the desk. "Hello" she said with a small smile before doing the same old song and dance many students had done to enter the college. She was excited to live this new life and she wondered how many opportunities it would give her.

Cassie sauntered in after the new girl and sighed. She really hated being here, but she had applied and gotten accepted so she really didn't have an choice. Even if it meant wandering into Jessie every now and then. "Hey." She said with a smirk as the lady behind the counter handed her the appropriate forms to fill out. Cassie handed them to the blonde first, and then took an extra set for herself. SHe didn't have much to declare so this shouldn't take long.

Ruby turned to see a young lady, like herself, enter the room. Before the door closed, both Kangaroo and Rover managed to slide through the decreasing crevice; Rover after the Jack Russell. A thick scent of pricy perfume wafted in the air around the female who had just entered. Already Ruby could tell she was quite wealthy and somewhat miscevious. The student quickly jerked her head back toward the worker behind the desk just moments before the wealthier student barged in rather boldly.
Holding in her gnawed-on patience, Ruby politely took the papers from the female with a small smile. The newcomer wondered if everybody in the school were wealthy. If so, she most likely wouldn't fit in. Too often she was teased about her cheap wardrobe and her lack of cash. Not too long she had had to tend to her sick father all the way back in New York and because so, she couldn't keep her wallet full with her gigs.
The strawberry blond reached into her pockets only to find she had no writing utensil to fill out her forms with. After approaching the other student, she asked, "Excuse me could I borrow a pen or pencil?" in a voice like honey; sweet and smooth. Ruby was curious to see how the confident woman would reply as she stood before her with her hands at her sides.

Cassie noticed how the girl looked at her. It seemed that the girl wasn't sure what to make of Cassie. The blonde smiled lightly, she loved when she kept people off guard though she preferred it around males. When the girl asked for a pen, Cassie dug into her Louie Vitton purse and handed her a purple pen. Cassie smiled brightly at her in a friendly way. It was odd for Cassie to be so friendly but she never knew when a chick friend would come in handy.
"Cute dog." She muttered pointing toward the Jack Russell. Cassie wasn't fond of dogs really, but it was cute. Personally, she wanted a cat, but hadn't gotten one yet.

Cassie may have been the man's woman but Ruby definitely wasn't. She wasn't taken too seriously by most of her friends and the males that she had the slightest interest in didn't seem to take her hint.
The young woman examined as the wealthy student reached into her gorgeous purse and pulled out a fine-looking pen. With a sincere little nod she replied, "Thank you" and was about to turn around back toward the desk to write just before the young-adult brought up her dog, Kangaroo, or Kanga for short. She quickly recalled the day she got Kanga that her mother had brought up Winnie the Pooh names since her siblings and herself grew up with the silly bear on the screen.
"Oh, thanks. The other one follows her around everywhere." Tuesday said with a grin as she eyed the pair both lying by the door and her belongings. Not often did people say that Kanga was cute, it was usually Rover they commented on since he was much more noticeable and unique with his large size and wrinkles.

Cassie finished filling out her papers and signed her name with a flourish. She smiled when the girl said thank you. "Welcome." Standing, she handed the papers over and sighed as she walked over to her bags. This wasn't even the beginning of her clothes but she only brought what she could carry for now. Her parents would send the rest in a few days. Though what Cassie had in her bag would clothe most people for nearly two weeks, she never thought she had enough clothes.
Cassie noted the larger dog but said nothing about it. She preferred smaller things. The more delicate the better, though the responsibility of caring for an animal usually put her off the thought of getting one of her own. Leaning on the counter, Cassie watched the other girl. "So do you have a room yet?" She would wait and probably help the girl unpack before looking around for the people she knew.
